On February 17, 2024, I will take to 50 miles of the beautiful white sand beaches to run the Destin Beach Ultras for the last time. I have run several hundred miles on the Destin beaches over the years during this event.
Each of these years has  allowed me to raise funds and awarness to an amazing charity.

The Special Operation warriors Foundation is a 4 star rated charity. Created in 1980, Special Operations Warrior Foundation is devoted to providing a college education to every child who has lost a parent serving in the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps during an operational or training mission under the U.S. Special Operations Command. This includes over 70,000 military special operations and support personnel assigned to units throughout the United States and around the world.

The Warrior Foundation is committed to providing scholarship grants, not loans, to over 1,000 children, who survive over 900 Special Operations personnel who gave their lives in service to our country. 

Mission Statement

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation ensures full financial assistance for a post-secondary degree from an accredited two or four-year college, university, technical, or trade school; and offers family and educational counseling, including in-home tutoring, to the surviving children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps special operations personnel who lose their lives in the line of duty.

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation also provides immediate financial assistance to severely wounded and hospitalized special operations personnel.
